first, a little about me
I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA (the capital!) However, for college I decided to migrate about 9 hours south to pursue a computer science degree at UCI, which is where I currently am now. (insert anteater emoji)
College was a bit daunting at first, but now in my second year, I’ve found myself exactly where I want to be. I’ve come to appreciate all facets of computer science, it’s just fascinating how a couple lines of code can turn nothing into something.
I’m constantly learning and always looking for opportunities to apply myself. SO if anyone comes across this and is looking for someone ready to contribute, feel free to reach out!

- Built a property management platform (FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React), streamlining tasks for 200+ employees
- Engineered SQL schemas and secured APIs with Azure OAuth, enforcing RBAC and enhanced data security
- Migrated legacy on-premise systems to DigitalOcean cloud infrastructure, saving $21K annually in hosting costs
- Automated IT inventory tracking using n8n webhooks and custom workflows, eliminating manual lookup time

Hack @ UCI
- Developed the IrvineHacks site using React, Next.js, MongoDB, and FastAPI, serving 800+ applicants
- Implemented a scalable backend with UCI SSO and RESTful APIs, enabling seamless auth and submission flow
- Integrated real-time content management using Sanity CMS, eliminating need for redeployment during the event
- Wrote unit tests with MagicMock and Pytest for API endpoints, reducing bugs and improving code reliability

- Worked in an Agile team of 6 to build a dog-network platform, contributing to sprint planning and code reviews
- Integrated Google Sign-in via Firebase Auth and Admin SDK, securing feature access to verified users only
- Led end-to-end development of profile management workflows with RHF + Zod, assisting 55+ active users

CareTech @ UCI Tech Committee
- Built a deep learning melanoma detection system by processing 25K+ dermoscopic images for early diagnosis
- Applied OpenCV for hair removal, denoising, and contrast enhancement, standardizing image quality for training
- Augmented and relabeled 4.5K melanoma images with pandas/NumPy, raising class balance from 18% to 47%
- Trained a custom CNN in TensorFlow, achieving 82% accuracy via batch normalization and early stopping

With medical error being a growing concern, my teammates and I developed an AI-powered platform that gives users in-depth eye diagnosis for cataracts and uveitis, putting the power in the patient's hands. Awarded 1st place for our efforts!
